Letter of Solidarity from our Unifor Rail Locals to Unifor Local 1075 and its membership on strike at Bombardier in Thunder Bay

Unifor Local 1075 members at Bombardier in Thunder Bay have been on strike since July 14, 2014 in defense of Bombardier's concessionary demands against member's pension and benefit plans.
Unifor's Rail Locals - Council 4000, Local 100, Local 101-R and Local 103 - which represent more than 9000 workers in the railway and transportation sectors, have sent the following letter of support and solidarity to the 900 striking members of Unifor Local 1075 in Thunder Bay:

We wish these striking members well in the weeks ahead and provide our support to Local 1075 and its bargaining committee for Bombardier in reaching a fair and reasonable settlement.
