Take action to stop Bill C-377, "An Act to amend the Income Tax Act"

The Federal Conservative government’s anti-worker Bill is back in front of the Senate.
On May 14, 2015, Bill C-377, An Act to amend the Income Tax Act (requirements for labour organizations), has been reported back to the Senate from the legal and constitutional affairs committee without amendment, and now awaits third reading in the Senate. This Bill interferes with Canadians’ freedom of association and the freedom of speech within the right to association, and is a direct attack on unions. If passed, Bill 377 will interfere with unions’ ability to operate. |
