The nomination process has been completed and elections are now under for the full-time positions of Regional Representatives for Unifor National Council 4000. There are 7 positions of Regional Representatives across Canada that service the five Regional Local Unions that form Council 4000. These are full-time positions.
Following the nomination process, we are pleased to report that incumbent candidates Mario Laroche and Jennifer Murray have been re-elected by acclamation. Jennifer services the diverse membership of Unifor Local 4005 in Atlantic Canada (Bay Ferries, Cummins, CN, DHL, Loblaw Atlantic Wholesalers, Loomis, Nova Scotia Federation of Labour support staff, Ryder, Securitas, VIA Rail, Wajax, and World Trade & Convention Centre Halifax), while Mario services CN and VIA Rail Agreement 1 members in the province of Quebec and the City of Ottawa. |
